I called and Troy came out and inspected our basement that was getting efflorescence (salt residue) in a particular corner. He found the issue and was honest with a simple fix. Great guy and admirable business owner. Definitely recommend Bluebird CFW.

Bottom line this company is made up of stand up people. If you’re looking for waterproofing don’t waste your time sifting through contractors or getting multiple bids, trust me. They sealed up a nasty crawl space, gave great customer service, and made sure my satisfaction was top priority. Their number one service is integrity therefore you can’t go wrong.

Bluebird worked at my home in October of this year to replace my central support beam and multiple support posts. I recently purchased my home in May of 2022 and it was built by my grandfather, so it was extremely important to me that this work be done at a high level of quality. Troy and his team were exceptionally professional, completed the work very quickly and educated me on the process as they worked. The work was completed, in my opinion, at a very high level of quality and the price that I was quoted and ultimately paid was significantly lower than other foundation companies that I called before reaching out to Bluebird. The team also cleaned every time they left my house. My house was literally cleaner on the days that they came to work than it is at any other time. Every individual that I spoke to in the office when I called was also incredibly professional and kind. I cannot recommend Troy and his team enough- if you are looking for foundation repair work, don't even bother calling anyone else. Save yourself the time and just call Bluebird.

Troy came out to give me estimates for several things we needed done at our lake house. While he was there, we went into the crawl space, he took over an hour on a weekend and fixed our sump pump issue while educating me at the same time. Just meeting me that day and not knowing if we were using his services, he wouldn't bill us for that time. With settling issues in the past, we needed 8 Helical Peers around the house and under a future deck, so we called Troy. His price was 2/3's of his competitor and he knew what he was doing, so we booked the installation dates. His team called to let me know their arrival time, prior to showing up on their scheduled day. I talked to his entire crew and all of them were very polite, professional and focused. They worked together as a team, I know, I was on the job site with them the first day. I don't trust many contractors, so I rarely leave them alone. Troy and his crew, different story. I left before they did on the first day, with confidence the job would meet my expectations. When the job was done 2 days later, his team called me. They let me know they cleaned up as much as they could, told me the details of each helical peer and how the entire project went. If you have a need for anything they do, definitely reach out, you won't be disappointed.

I have had issues with my basement flooding since I bought the house in 2015. There was no drainage system installed at this home. I was so distraught and very scared to invest in this basement.I just had this done in June and I regret not doing it sooner! This company is so kind and respectful. I’m kind of a pain with asking lots of questions. Every person I spoke to explained things I didn’t understand and were patient with me every step of the way.After they were done with the job they cleaned up after themselves. I didn’t have to cleanup anything. The work they did was just absolutely amazing.If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I have been able to enjoy these storms without the worry of my basement flooding again.

Excellent business! Corey came out to look at a leak in our basement. After doing some examination he determined it was an easy fix. He explained I could do it on my own for much cheaper. I appreciated his honesty and he did not even charge for coming out to look at it. I would highly recommend this business if your looking for an honest and fair company to work on your home!

I've had some concerns about my foundation as well as the floor support in my 120 year old house. It's been challenging to find a company to work with who I trust. I am very happy having contacted Bluebird CFW. I had what I believed to be a foundation leak and Troy came by to inspect. He was quickly able to trace the issue to an area on the outside of the house and thoroughly explained how the water had entered. As this is an older house I was expecting worse news than what he provided but he was very knowledgeable and straight forward and presented a solid solution that I could even take care of on my own, certainly saving me some money. Highly recommend this company as they look to save the homeowner from unnecessary repairs.

Beyond amazing!!! I cannot even begin to explain how impressed I am with their excellent customer service. Not only did Troy help me with a situation I thought was hopeless, he did it with a kindness that is often lacking these days. He explained every step of the way and left me knowing exactly what to look for if the trouble arises again…all while being completely honest and refusing to sell me something I didn’t need. The quick response to my call for help blew me away!!! Their level of customer service will be above and beyond what you thought was possible. Honestly, you would be crazy to call any other company. Troy and Carter came out to our place in Northville to install a drain in our Egress since my daughters bedroom flooded this summer. These guys truly care about the customer and doing the right thing. Troy started digging and discovered an existing drain. It was just covered with twenty years of clay that had hardened making it impossible to function properly. Troy took the time to clean the surrounding area, explain the process and then checked if the existing drain was functioning correctly. This was a $1600 job and Troy refused to take any money. He cares. Bluebird CFW you have a customer for life. To anyone out there who is on the fence it should really be a no brainer. Tracy was also a pleasure to deal with from the Office. Troy does great work at below-industry rates. What is not to love?!?Three years ago I was referred to Troy and Bluebird for waterproofing and foundation repair for my real estate clients. He is the go-to expert of many friends of mine in the real estate world and I've found Troy to be reliable, exceedingly professional, honest, hard-working, dependable and fair.When buyers of mine were under contract for a home with leaning walls and water in the basement, Troy provided easy solutions with lifetime guarantees at rates that none of his competitors could touch.When my own home had water intrusion he came over on a holiday (a holiday!!), looked behind a wall, traced the water's path and told me to invest in smooth down spouts at one gutter and extend it to 6 feet past my home. He said he would be shocked if I ever called him again for that issue. And I haven't had an issue since! When I asked him that day what I owed him he said noting-- that he provides free estimates and that was his estimate. 45 minutes of his time to save me a LOT of money and headache with a home built in 1890. I recently had the need for foundation and waterproofing work, I was lucky enough to experience the work done by Bluebird CFW. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing foundation or waterproofing work. The owner himself went above and beyond to make sure I understood every step and he was very involved and not afraid to get his hands dirty. Troy also helped me figure out some other issues as we went along that he very easily could have taken advantage of us and charged for things that had absolutely nothing to do with work he was there for but instead he took the extra time to troubleshoot my other issues and guide me in the right direction. He is extremely honest and He kept in touch through the whole process. He and his crew were phenomenal. I’ve had several other companies come to the home to give me an estimate prior to finding Bluebird and not one of them went into the crawl space (where the issue was) they stood outside of it with a flashlight, but Troy went in right away to evaluate the issues. I can not say enough amazing things about Troy and his company. I have and will continue to recommend this company!

If you want a company that looks out for the customer then you want to work with Troy at Bluebird CFW - Foundation Repair & Waterproofing. Troy will work with you and provide you with the best option for your situation.I had Troy at Bluebird and Ram Jack to design and install a helical pile system to support a grade beam foundation. This was all done during Covid adding to the complexity and delays. But, Troy was great supporting the job and keeping his crew safe. Can't say enough about this company.

I DID *NOT* HIRE THIS COMPANY!......And yet here I am giving a very heartfelt 5 star review (only because there aren't more than 5 stars!!). I have a leaking water problem in the ceiling of my main floor dining room. They do basements. Instead of telling me "we can't help", Troy actually asked to look at pics of my house, diagnosed the problem, and told me exactly what I needed, even though his company doesn't do that. He went WAY above and beyond, after KNOWING I wouldn't be hiring him because I needed a different service. That kind of INTEGRITY and CHARACTER is EXACTLY what I would want in a company! I am sad it wasn't my basement leaking just so I could hire them! Thank you again, Troy! You are a great person!

I was thrilled to get excellent advice on how to deal with two different areas of basement moisture right before putting our house up for sale. Awesome and Great!! Let me start with their sales person. His name is Corey! I loved this guy. so professional, great helper, and very knowledgeable. Corey went over all details and explained everything so patiently to me, and then he went out and bought a brand new sump pump and replaced it with our old broken one at no cost for his labor. I knew right away since that moment I will hire this company because of this very nice and good man. Tracy! this is a great person who runs and manages the teams, date, and time. I can say she's a great customer service. Tracy went through the finance and explained even the small details with kind and professionalism. Jake (The Foreman) and his very polite and professional team. All I can say regarding this team (I just love them, honestly) very quiet, very professional, very clean, very polite, knows what they are doing, and very respectful. Usually, the workers are talking a lot or swearing, but this team and Jake were very professional. I never even heard them talking just doing their job with respect for all my family and kids in the house. Our home needed the crawlspace encapsulated due to standing water after rains. Troy came out himself and did the actual inspection and appraisal. We selected Bluebird to perform the repairs, which was much more than just encapsulation, and set a start date. The crew arrived on time for day one and Jake, the crew leader on the job, kept me up to date with daily calls and texts with progress reports. Even with the heat we had the guys worked every day and the job was finished on time. The yard was cleaner when they left than when they arrived and I just can't give them enough credit for their professionalism. During the Covid shutdown Troy maintained regular communication which was highly appreciated and I would highly recommend Bluebird for your waterproofing needs.

We recently had our crawl space encapsulated and bluebird CFW did an amazing job. Troy and Tracey were great to work with. The crew they sent out were polite and on time and the work was finished in a timely manner. Our crawl space went from dirty and unusable to clean, dry, storage space in one afternoon. I would not hesitate to use bluebird again.

Very honest. I brought them in and the owner gave me solid advice and told me how to fix my problem myself and save money. I brought in a larger company next to see what they thought and they visited my home twice to try and sell me a totally new system for 20000 dollars. The third company I brought in for a quote told me the same thing bluebird did and then I realized bluebirds advice what correct the whole time. I did the project myself over two days and it cost me less then 400 dollars. If you what honest and trusted advice bluebird is the only company you need to call.

I had a sump failure that resulted in 8 inches of water in my basement & the frying of my furnace.Once the water restoration company finished, we noted that water was still coming in. I did a Home Advisor search & messaged a couple of companies. Blue Bird called almost immediately.Estimate was reasonable; Jake, Brandon, Brendan & Seth were amazing and determined. The first route to waterproof would not work, so they came again & got 99.9% finished. Need one more trip to finish...but I think they really want to come play with my dogs...😊I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

The owner, Troy, will go very far in this business due to honesty, integrity, and great service. He came to my home promptly and spotted my problem areas immediately. He was my third estimate this month and the solution he suggested will save me thousands compared to the other estimates I received and his suggestion does not require a service he provides. He suggested that I look into getting my gutters rerouted first. So while I will not be using his service, I would highly recommend getting an estimate from him because you will not be sold a product or service that you don't need.

Service: Drain Tile, Sump Pump Installation, and fixing entrance to Crawlspace ReviewCompleted: March 2019Review: 5/5We had ground water rising into our crawlspace when Spring started to thaw the snow and ice. I contacted a couple of companies and I ultimately went with BlueBird and have absolutely no regrets, here why:First, understanding the problem. Of the companies I called BlueBird (Troy, the owner) was the only one to put on some waders and get into the mud to understand what was occurring under my house. The other companies I called basically told me when they came to the house, “if you’ve seen one, have seen them all” and while there may be some truth to that, I found that the other plans I had to review were missing aspects that Troy identified. Maybe the other companies’ plans would have solved my problem, but before I was ready to spend thousands of dollars, I wanted the assurance from someone who had looked at the problem outside of taking a peek.Second, the sales approach. You should know that when you are trying to solve water problems you have options. Every company I called, including BlueBird, wanted to sell me a full crawlspace encapsulation. Encapsulation is a great service, but it is also the most expensive. You are basically taking your crawlspace and turning it into usable storage space (depending on the height I guess). However, while Troy presented encapsulation as an option, he also explained less expensive services that would solve my biggest concern (dealing with the ground water). During this part of our conversation there was absolutely no pressure from Troy, which I appreciated.Third, how they handle dealing with competitors. When another company came in slightly lower than BlueBird I called Troy to see if he could explain the difference. He was not defensive but reviewed the other proposal with me and we found a couple of items they simply missed (probably because they never got in the crawlspace). So, while both companies were saying the could fix the problem without doing a full encapsulation BlueBird was doing more to fix it (the approach to how the water would drain, and the quality of the new crawlspace entrance). There was also a piece of the other companies plan that I did like (adding a new sheet of plastic over the dirt, which makes getting under your house a lot less messy after the work is done) Troy added that to his plan at no charge. So not only was BlueBird doing more to ensure the problem was fixed, they went above and beyond to match a part of their competitors plan.Fourth, the Service itself. So, I had to work on the day the work was scheduled to be done and my wife would be home with our newborn baby. Troy reached out to me and offered to bring his foreman Jake to our house so he could meet my wife that way she would recognize someone while the work was being done if she had any questions. My wife happily reported that the whole team was very professional, and the work was way less of a disruption than she imagined, our 2 and ½ week old baby slept most of the day. When I got home from work the team was cleaning up and Jake took me a tour of the work they had done. I was blown a way at what a great job they did, how professional the work looked, and to be honest there was no clean up on my part. On top of everything I paid for, Jake took the time to go into another part of my crawlspace (that wasn’t getting any water in it) and he cleaned up all the existing plastic there and made that area look just as good as the part they were there to address. The whole BlueBird team clearly takes pride in their work.

They came out a few mounts ago to take a look. Our garage was a mess so he gave us a few different options and also encouraged us to checkout other bids. What I appreciated most was he told us one of this options we had suggested would just cave right back in and while he could do it, he didn’t want to knowing it would eventually leave us with issues. We did call around and do our due diligence and no one else would touch our garage because it was so bad. We called bluebird and they scheduled us in a timely manner and came back to lift it. Tracey and her husband Troy were both so nice, professional, and easy to work with. If you are deciding between two companies- Bluebird is the way to go, I would call them again for sure!
